Project Description

Understanding Herefordshire is an annual assessment of the health and well-being needs and quality of life of the people living and working in Herefordshire, which provides strategic intelligence for commissioning and business planning for the whole county.

Madeleine Spinks, Data Orchard director, led on the production of the strategic overview ‘Understanding Herefordshire 2014’ and its predecessor, the ‘State of Herefordshire’ report, whilst she was managing Herefordshire Council’s research team.  Both reports provided concise summaries of the key issues arising from analyses of large and varied datasets. The work helped the council and its partners to inform strategic planning and priorities.
