Project Description

Data Orchard helped design the residents’ survey for the Humber, Ford and Stoke Prior group of parishes for their neighbourhood development plan. We then analysed and reported on the results (with a response rate of 82%) – making sense of all the valuable data collected from local residents into a full narrative report. Just over half the respondents marked on the paper maps provided with the survey form, where they thought housing should be built in the future, which sites might be suitable for one or two small estates and which green space should be protected in future. Data Orchard digitised these maps so that all could be viewed online together, to help form the neighbourhood development plan.  Then our planning expert, Bill Bloxsome, got involved to offer what an NDP group member called “extremely helpful” planning advice.
