How do you know where to target precious resources in a rural county? Is there a need for your services? Well there are some clues in the first ‘headline’ results from the 2018 Herefordshire’s Quality of life survey. Managed and driven by local not-for-profit organisations, this is part of a collaborative ‘Better Data, Better Lives’ project. We launched the results of the survey last week with leaders in Hereford with great engagement. Community transport, social isolation, loneliness, unpaid care, personal well-being and spending time outdoors were all discussed – particularly opportunities for collaborating to resolve issues. We plan to run a few more events to explore this new data, including how it fits with the Sustainable Route Map. And continue to engage young people to find out what they think about quality of life in the county (please ask any young people in Herefordshire to fill in this quick online survey).
There will a series of spotlight reports focussing on particular topics as well as a full report with technical details. In the meantime, here are the headline results: HerefordshireQualityofLifeHeadlineReport20181.1
