Bill Bloxsome
Bill is a chartered Town Planner (BA Hons, MRTPI) with over 35 years’ experience in local government. His roles have included planning, strategy and implementation in economic development, infrastructure and housing. Most recently he managed Herefordshire Council’s Conservation team, including archaeology, historic buildings and areas, landscape, biodiversity and trees.

Bill has a deep passion and understanding of rural areas and market towns. He works as a planning consultant, specialising in the support of neighbourhood planning groups, and also facilitates the Herefordshire Nature Partnership.

Ben Proctor

Ben (B.Sc (Hons) Biology, CIPR) is a communications professional specialising in the use of digital tools including social media, open data and open source tools for community empowerment. He’s worked in senior communications roles for several local authorities.

As a consultant his clients have included: The BBC, The Woodford Foundation (now SIGNAL), Shell UK, Shropshire Community Recycling Ltd, the NCS Trust and The Bulmer Foundation. He is a core member of the Standby Task Force a global humanitarian organisation that relies on social media to fulfill its mission and has been a Trustee of Sustainable Northern Ireland and Severnside Housing.

David Helm
David Helm
Dave has several years’ experience in survey design, analysis and reporting. His background is in financial services where he developed his skills in data analysis and project management. In recent years he has undertaken research projects for a variety of public sector and charitable organisations. He is currently studying for a PhD at the University of Leicester.

Dave’s specialist interests are in social research ethics and in data protection. He is passionate about delivering robust social research that is engaging, accessible, relevant and meaningful to clients, communities and the wider public.
